THE PACT by Lisa Darcy

The Pact is my favourite of Lisa Darcy’s books to date. Sometimes it’s fun to lose yourself in some Chick Lit and this one has lots going for it. For starters, it’s a tennis immersion; the game, the publicity, the players, the gossip. Wimbledon, Aussie Open, and more. It was fun to read familiar names mingled with the very credible fictional ones. Darcy’s dialogue is spot-on and the banter between some of the players is great fun, giving me more than a few LOL moments.

If you haven’t read any of Lisa Darcy’s books and you’re a fan of the Romcom, I’d start with this one. It’s a ripping read.
